Kate Smyles is a local musician, songwriter, and facilitator of play and connection through the arts. Offering a selection of instruments and music from many genres, this family-friendly community event hopes to inspire connection and playtime with folks from many different life experiences to share their stories and music magic around the campfire down at the Silverton Day Park on Turner St.

Community Sing Along
with Kate Smyles
These campfire music evenings will be lead by Kate Smyles with a selection of semi-popular and obscure folk songs and a number of instruments to share and play. Bring your own songs and instruments to add to the cacophony of sound around a community fire - we'll sing songs we know and make up songs as we go! No musical experience required, this is an event that will bring out the musical genius from all who may attend.
Location: Silverton Day Park
Cost: Free +donations (cost for food, drinks, & firewood)
Participants: All ages and abilities!
