The Slocan Lake Arts Council currently has two different funds you can choose to donate to:
Your donation to the Slocan Lake Arts Council's general fund will help keep arts alive and well in the Slocan Valley and enables us to continue enriching our community and the artists who live here. We stimulate, broaden, encourage and facilitate the continuing development of arts and cultural opportunities, projects and activities in the area of Silverton and New Denver.

Your donation for the Silverton Gallery Building (aka Slocan Lake Arts Centre) will be used by the Slocan Lake Arts Council to revitalize the building and secure its future as our cultural hub. We strive to bring this historic building up to current standards for accessibility, flooring, energy efficiency, user flow, and more. Click here to learn more about this fundraiser.

Wondering through which channel you might best donate to us?
Most importantly, we welcome you to use the method of your choice! If you are looking for some guidance, here is what could work well for both of us:
Online: Using our online donation form through Canada Helps (links provided above) might be your simplest method. This will automatically generate a charitable tax receipt for you, no matter the amount!
Cash: Cash donations can always be made at our in-person events. If you would like to receive a charitable tax receipt for your cash donation (min $25), please ask us at the event for the contact form.
Cheque: For bigger donations we encourage you to write a cheque to the Slocan Lake Arts Council: 408 4th St, Silverton BC, V0G 1S0. Please write on the cheque which fund the donation is for (Silverton Gallery or SLAC General). You can also use cheques for donations at our in-person events. Make sure that we get your contact information if you would like to receive a charitable tax receipt from us.
