We are very excited to be partnering with Valhalla Fine Arts, with support from The Outlet Youth Centre, to host two spring break camps right in Silverton. One of them is this music camp, called School of Rock!
Tuition support is made possible from generous local donors and grants from Columbia Basin Trust. Space is limited, so register today!

What is the School of Rock?
School of Rock is a week-long camp for teens 12-18. This will be a chance to learn from some local musicians all the ins and outs of making and promoting music. There will be access to a full range of rock instruments - electric guitars, bass, keyboard and drums. This camp is open to anyone, even if you have zero music experience. There will be introductions into the various instruments, but also songwriting and participants will have access to recording equipment and learn the various components of putting on a show - from marketing to getting the lighting right.
Camp Band Leaders are Jeff Bonner, Jay Kleiss and Hannah Lisgo. They all have many years experience writing original songs and performing music. But what's more, they have a passion to share their love of music, especially with future rock stars.
*Snacks will be provided.
*Please bring indoor shoes or slippers to wear as the old floors are not the kindest to shoeless feet.
